!!Help!!
I recently purchased a new pc (thanks to balou911)
nd here are the specs:
Pentium D 805 (2.66ghz)
P5ND2 SLI mobo w. zalman heatsinc fan(don't know which one but its pure copper and huge)
2x 512 dual channel corsair xm2 ddr2 pc5400 ram (675 mhz)
bfg 7800gtx w/ zalman fan
and if u haven't guessed, im trying to achieve at least an 3.8 ghz overclock.
i managed to get it to 3.8 ghz fine and it boots into windows but everytime i run a game(call of duty 2 or luna demo in this case) it freezes. Same thing happens even after i clock it down to 3.6 ghz. I was wondering if someone could tell me how keep a stable clock at 3.8 or at least 3.6 ghz.
i changed the settings in the bios to be
190 fsb
and 760 bus speed
is ther any other things i need to do to achieve stability?

Only a million things do do.
Make sure your cpu is stable, prime it
it it passes prime and still freezes then look at ram and your mb
relax the ram or underclock it.
start low then make your way up until you do not have stablility.
If you cpu is passing price then see if it needs more volts.
Just a few things off thetop of my head.
Baby steps and hours of stability testing
Looping 03 (just first tests) is a great way to see if its games stable.
