Put together a good resume that accentuates your skills and experience. Apply for EI. Apply for new jobs.
Nothing much else you can do really, and its not your fault in the least. Your situation is being repeated thousands of times daily across the world, and even perfectly solid firms are experiencing financial troubles. If it makes you feel any better, keep in mind that this sort of violent turbulence in the labour markets is necessary in order to rebalance the economy into such a configuration that professionals, such as yourself, are more appropriately viewed, and compensated for their efforts.

Help
Hello all,
I got terminated from my work place. I was working in the engineering company as an engineer. The manger didn't really tell me anything I have done wrong but he said the company redirecting business and there is no suitable position for me any more. There has been some office poletics circling around the past few weeks but I didn't really think it will to termination. I am just wondering if there is any one who went through the same situation as I am and could give me an idea how to go from here. Your kind response is greatly appreciated in advance.
Thanks all.
