Help on deciding between Thinkpad x60 or Sony Vaio TX670
Hi,
Could anyone shed light as to which notebook computer I should go for:

or

A quick comparison:
X60 Vs. TX670
Dual core 1.83 Vs. Single core 1.2
512MB(3G Max) Vs. 1GB(1.5G Max)
60GB SATA Vs. 60GB PATA
NONE Vs. Internal DVDRW DL
12"(1024X768) Vs. 11"(1366X768)
3 year warranty Vs. 1 year warranty
Other specs being almost the same(wireless, battery life, weight)
TX670 should be more of a competitor to X41(same pentium M single core platform). Unless you really want the WXGA and internal DVDRW on TX670, I would go for the X60. For a laptop costs more than 2 grand, I trust Lenovo way more than Sony.
But if portability is not on the top of your priority list, why not a t60??
Just my 2 cents.

Lenovo Thinkpad. Why? Because it has a pointing stick! Why do most notebooks only have touchpad?

I would go for the TX. It has a better screen and it's lighter. I don't recommend the TX if you have big hands. Go to the Sony store and try it out.
