It does not. The three things that pop up after I hold the power to turn the phone off is:
-Silent Mode
-Airplane Mode
-Power Off

This is the first time I have heard of this happening. I have installed it on an LG Optimus LTE, Galaxy s2, Captivate, HTC Sensation, Incredible S, etc. Perhaps the CWM you installed is not the right version for your phone?

Maybe the reboot is off in settings -> power menu -> check reboot.

Not sure if it is. But like I said I tried both versions that there was for the Optimus One to no avail.

Just unrooted my phone and rerooted using Superoneclick 1.9.5 which is the recommended rooting tool. Superuser is installed with no problems, tried ROM Manager again and it reset the phone again....
The thing that pops up very briefly after the LG screen is an open box with the android and a loading bar.

FINALLY! I was able to get into CWM using LGMDP. Installed Jelly Bean and the Gapps, now my Optimus One is running Jelly Bean.
Now I have another question. How do I go about updating to the latest build. Do I do it via LGMDP again or can I press power+volume down+home to enter CWM? And if it resets the phone that way again, will it reset to 4.1.2 or back to the stock 2.3.3?

Did you flash a custom or stock rom? If you installed a stock rom, you could use the LG update tool to see if there is a newer rom.

In the end when I rebooted my phone I was able to get into CWM. From there I installed a CM10 build.

Yeah. My question is though is am I able to get CWM running using the power+volume+home method at boot up now? Or will doing that completely reset my phone back to 2.3.3 again. Don't want to go through that process of loading a custom rom again haha.
Edit: Never mind, there's an option for booting into recovery when I go to power off the device. Took forever to get it working -.-

OP where did you get CM10 for the P500? They stopped at CM7. There was never an official JB build for the P500.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1811325 He's releasing a new build really soon as well, possibly tonight/tomorrow.
It's not an official one but it works great so far. There's also this one here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1887067
