HELP! I need help with Pandoras Battery!!

Hey all, ive recently bought a new psp firmware 2.6, i upgraded it to 2.71 than i downgraded it to 1.5. Now it wont turn on , so its bricked. Ive read up on the pandoras battery but im really confused. Does this mean i have to buy a spare battery and memory chip and get rid of the one i have now along with the battery that came with the psp?

I live in the GTA so if anyone already has a pandoras battery and that could provide me with their services ill be interested. Otherwise i would have to goto pmall...
