restart the computer?

help, lost shift key and all uppercase functions..
all the sudden my uppercase is not working, caps lock works fine but shift key does not, nothing stuck, uninstalled/reinstalled keyboard, nada, wtf is goin on, its drivin me crazy, any help would be apreciatted, xp pro
