Help me build a Windows XP desktop for work. Thanks in advance!

I need a new desktop for work with a high end dual monitor video card. The only caveat is that it needs to run on Windows XP system.

I'm no gamer but I need to be fast and efficient.

Please help. I really appreciate any suggestion to what to get, where to buy, and etc at good prices.

Pretty much any $500 desktop will run dual monitors fine, and it's not really worth spending any more than that on a system to run XP.

Why does it need to run on xp? Everything almost runs just fine on 7 except very old software.

But I guess if you really want to build an xp machine then it wouldn't cost over 400-450 if the graphics card doesn't cost more than 100$.

Onboard Intel graphics can do 2560x1600 over displayport, but max out at 1920x1200 over other interfaces, so if you want dual displays, easiest way is probably the cheapest Dell machine at $430, then stick in a discrete gpu with dual DVI for $40.

It is used to display medical imaging like x-rays and multitasks with dictation software. It doesn't need to be extremely fast...
