Long story short, I was vacuuming and accidentally sucked up a small plastic bag through the hose attachment. I have a Dyson Slim DC18 vacuum. I have disassembled as much of the vacuum as I can (following their manual) but still have not resolved the issue. Could someone who has knowledge of fixing vacuums help me out? I do not know how to access the part of the vacuum where the plastic bag actually got sucked into. Thanks!
The back of the vacuum. The hole is where the hose attachment connects to.
The front of the vacuum. The clear casing that holds the HEPA filter can be removed, but it still does not give me access to where the debris from the hose gets sucked in.

Stick a hook in there and pull it out? That's what I always do with vacuums.

I thought these things never lose suction

Ditto about using a hook...coat hanger works well too_______________
