I don't like the site layout, make it more simple. When you click a category show all the jokes (with some type of a seperator), don't make people click on the joke name before they can read it. Remove the scrolling button, it's annoying.

I'm not sure what you guys mean by making it more simple. Can you give me an example?

Four things that came to me instantly:

1. What is the site about? Find a tagline to let me know what the site does.
- Use RFD as an example, right under the title it says what they are
2. humor2k in the top bar and humor2k in the main window do not match
- consistency
3. It's too wide... is it set to stretch to fit my page width? I don't like that.
- control where things are
4. Too long, drags way off the page, at least make the center scroll only, while the nav bars remain fixed
- keep things together

Add that in and you'll be popular =)


- Pick another color, it's too gray
- Move your "welcome to humor2k" to the top banner
- Put 'stars' instead for you 'rate this joke' option

At first glance, the website looked fine. The banner in front was very catchy professional.

When I started looking to the left of the page where the sub categories are, the "<"s, combined with the little banner under more to come... (the banner looked like an ad until I noticed it wasn't) makes the webpage look unprofessional. The first thing that came to mind that the layout of the site looked like one of those sites you would find when you click on popups and ads.

Thanks guys, I have taken note of all of your suggestions. I am having a hard time working with this layout so I am probably going to throw together something new, just a really simple design. I'd like to focus on content as much as I can.

If anyone has any suggestions for the site content wise, that would be great! What do you look for when you go to a site for fun? Aside from jokes and maybe funny pictures, what else keeps you coming back to entertainment sites? I'd like to put a lot more on the site but I'm having a hard time figuring out where to start!

I thought the site was very bland, I agree with one of the previous posters that said you should add some more lines and simplify the design.

The font isn't consistent for all the sections, I clicked on the "Dirty" --> "Pick Up Lines" and then on "Blondes" --> "Piece Meal" and the font and spacing were not consistent. Also, the front page is a little bland, there's too much white space on either side of the recent submissions.
