Help my KRZR won`t play MP3s.
I can`t make my MP3s play .I downloaded them on the phone and it says "File has unidentifiable information".

Make sure the file is encoded in constant bit rate and not variable. It should be encoded at 128kbps for optimal quality/performance.

does the mp3 play on the computer? if so... are you trying to play music through the music player on the phone or trying to set it as a ringtone?

As jumran said, you can try recoding them. However, I'm uncertain as to if that's the issue. I have a krzr k1m from Telus mobility as well as Rogers and they both play mp3's that are VBR ...
You can use LAME + RazorLAME to re-encode the mp3. Google them

You can use any mp3 encoder or editor to do this. Check google for freee programs. I use Roxio sound editor that comes with Roxio Easy Media Creator.
