Help a noob pick a camera!

If your focus is on the video, it's a great choice. For photos, I would go somewhere else.

I was going to get the a6300...but the RFD'er in me canceled the order. I couldn't justify spending $1k+ on something I would use a few times a year. It's definitely an amazing camera but for me I just wanted to take decent videos on trips and the occasional nice photo here and there.

Right now I'm using a gimbal and a Yi action camera....so anything really is a much needed upgrade lol.

Ah then go for it, perfect for travel videos and occsional photos.
