Help price this laptop for sale on kijiji.

I was given this laptop by my daughter and since I have no use for it, I'd like to sell it on kijiji/craigslist. What is a fair price for this laptop.

Bought new 3 years ago for home office and not often used.

Laptop is in perfect condition and comes with new power adapter. No box.

Specs:

Acer Aspire E14 Specs (E5-473G-57QQ )

14-inch HD (1366x768) LED-backlit TFT LCD.
Dimensions: 343mm x 245mm x 24.9mm.
Weight: 2.1 kilograms.
Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit Single Language Operating System.
Intel Core i5-5200U processor, 2.2GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.7GHz.
NVIDIA GeForce 940M GPU with 2GB DDR3 VRAM
8GB DDR3 L Memory
1000 GB HDD

Thanks for your help!

i'd say $2-300 at best, and we dunno about anything about how much ram it has, and what kind of storage HDD/SSD?

$300 but I'd upgrade it to 10 or clean install 10 on it.

Wish you in my town!

My daughter had stopped using it months ago to the point that she had forgotten the logon password. I formatted and installed windows 10 on it.

$20 CASH if you deliver from an hour away.

Or free since I'm donating it to someone in a 3rd world country and I have no money.

I'm joking but these will be the kind of responses you get from a majority of Kijiji people.

Try listing on RFD first.

if you sell on kijiji, you have to be realistic and price your items to sell. depending on where you are there will be hundreds of other laptops on kijiji that are left unsold. realistically, 200$. i'd start at 300$ and hope for an offer close to that (250), and then slowly work your way down if you don't get any offers.

Just as many idiots on here they just have better grammar. Kijiji has a much bigger audience so stuff sells faster.

Tried listing my iPhones for sale here and on kijiji at the same time and rfd was actually worse. Kijiji the idiots low ball you from the start So you know to ignore them, on here they ask a million questions and waste your time and then low ball. Always YMMV.

$200-300 sounds right, if you're lucky. The market is flooded with cheap/old/refurb laptops, and new ones don't cost as much as they used to. It's also an acer, so yeah...

It's a tough market out there, if you want to sell it fast prepare to take a bath. Might be worth a shot to bundle it with some accessories or laptop bag if you have something you want to also get rid of, just to give the perception of value. I couldn't sell my old computers and parts individually and had to resort to selling it all as a lot, took over a year but eventually someone showed up willing to take it all - I think I came out ahead because there was a lot of worthless stuff in there.
