HELP! Spyware issue!!
Alright, so someone sent me this program and when I extracted it, it began installing all of this stuff by itself and now my internet automatically keeps switching to an ad website whenever i surf or even if my browser is closed it will open the browser by itself and go to a bunch of ad websites...
help! what should i do? i already ran a scan with Mcafee antivirus AND spybot search and destroy but the problem persists!

If you can't use IE, try using Firefox or Opera. Most spywares don't affect every brower, just IE. If you don't have those, you'll have to download it using another PC.
Then you'll need to get a whole bunch of spyware removal programs, since usually one isn't enough. Go for Ad-aware, Spy Sweeper, Spybot, and Microsoft Antispyware. Try to use as many as you can. Odds are one of those will be able to remove it.
If that doesn't work, a reformat is in the works for you._______________

hey,
my friend knew what the problem is and sent me the uninstaller. it was something called lookup4you or something, the favicon in mozilla would always be a checkerboard.
