Wouldn't you risk getting it sticky again if you go to virgin stores afterwards?

Virgin will send the phone in to the Nokia service centre in newmarket and have them diagnose, and estimate or repair the phone, providing the customer has presented his proof of purchase.
Virgin should have on-site technicians, but they don't. so I guess Solectron is their tech.
