[HELP] Travelling Labour Day weekend..
Hey Everyone... does anyone know of a place I can take my gf for the Labour Day Long Weekend? Maybe within Canada and the States? most likely for 3 days and 2 nights? I'm hoping to spend about $850 all together at most.... thanks for any help!

It'd help also if you have us some idea of what you like to do.
I mean it's a pretty open ended question.

I'm in North York. Have access to my own car. I want to just get away from the city, to somewhere I can relax, enjoy some nature without that many bugs. Maybe do some ATVing, and horseback riding....

if it's just you and the gf, why not go camping? it's not exactly beach weather anymore, but sitting by a camp fire toasting marshmallows in the middle of nowhere is so romantic! (and cheap too lol)

Aug 24th, 2006 04:00 PM #8I would but she wanted some place "nice" and we wouldn't have to rough it... I agree with camping would of been much much cheaper!

I also recommend Blue Mountain. We stayed a couple nights in one of the two bedroom Mountain homes and it was really a good price. You'll like it there. Theres a small village with shops and restaurants.

I'll probably be @ Blue Mountain for most of the winter as I got Boarding there quite a bit. I wouldn't mind trying something different. Port Stanton is what my gf and I decided on... I posted a link in a post not to far up the page.
