After I turned off the car, the lights (the front and rear vehicle lights, and panel lights) were still on until the battery was depleted.
Several hours later, I tried to switch on my car, there was no sound responses from the starter, the panel lights were off, and the brakes were stiff.
What are the problems? How to have them fixed? Thanks.

Can you clarify the problem? You can't turn on your on?
Why's the thread title unable to turn off car lights but the content of your post isn't really related?
The starter-motor isn't working? The brakes are hard to push because of lack of hydraulic pressure, normal._______________

I had the same problem with my Accord. Apparently its the car's way of telling you the battery should be replaced. I replaced the battery and the problem went away. (I also tried disconnecting/reconnecting the battery, but the problem was still there)
