the situation is my laptop found a internet connection and i was wondering if i can bridge the conenction to my router so other computers can use it which is on a wired router. like in order for otehr computers to have internet, my laptop has to be on and connected to the internet. thank you

From what I can piece together, you wanted to bridge your wireless router to another wireless AP? Your router has to have a repeater mode to be able to do that, if the wireless signal is unsecured.

Technically it can be done, enable ICS on your laptop and connect your laptop wired to a switch.
No need for a router, and it can't be done wireless to a router.
And of course you can also wire in to an AP.
