[Henry's] Nikon D750 (body only) for $2299.99 (warm?)

Been eyeing this camera for a while and I think I might pull the trigger finally.

You have to add it to cart to see the final price of $2300.

Not really a very hot deal but considering it's selling for almost $2000 USD at bhphotovideo, it's a pretty good price at $2300 CDN. It usually retails for $2500 CDN so that's about 8% ($200 off).

You can potentially PM BB and get extra $20 off.

Canada,Eh!
Gulp!
I'm just happy with my used Pentax K-x with a less than 2000 shutter count which I recently picked up for $89.
Grabbed a 200mm zoom lens (300mm equivalent for a 35mm) for $85 a few days later.
We all have to start somewhere. :cheesygri
Getting some great pics of the backyard hummingbirds.
In the right hands, a $2k+ camera must be incredible!

And it will be that price again this November. No one with brains buys new retail camera gear this time of year, as prices are at their peak.

A skilled pro using your K-x with a decent lens will produce better images than some spoiled amateur with a D750. Crop body cameras are better for bird pics anyways due to the extra 1.5X reach.

Do you happen to remember who was selling at that price and any one think it will be that price again this year because the prices have gone up. Thanks in advance.

It was either Simon's or Lozeau in Montreal. I was going to buy one, but they would not ship out of province under ANY circumstances - so it wouldn't work for me. I ended up getting Bestbuy to PM in store on the last open box model they had (took a chance - it only had 125 shutter actuations). It worked out.

"right" = skilled photographer and post processor, several thousand in lenses and gear helps too. D750 is a popular wedding workhorse and entry pro FF. As suggested, not commonly a toy.
