HID lights
I have an 09 corolla sport and want to install these lights.
I'm considering purchasing the ones that come with HID blubs (bulbs without filament), Ballast, Ignitor, Relay Kit and Wirings.
What brand do any of you recommend? I don't mind spending a little bit, nothing above $500 though. I just want a dependable brand that won't short circuit my wiring and won't burn out after a year.
I will need to have someone install it for me since I'm not the greatest with these things. I do have friends who have done the plug and play ones but I still want someone pro to do it for me. Any recommendations on where I can get it done for a good price if I buy the kit myself?
Thanks!_______________

I heard some places sell and install a Chinese made set for like $200. Not sure about how long these will last though.

You can change the angles of your headlight beams by turning the dials on the back of the headlight assembly to lessen the glare for the oncoming traffic. My cheap HID kit still works 2 years strong. Knock on wood.

Non-projector headlights are the worst for HID glares.

Apr 6th, 2009 02:19 PM #12Headlights and tailights are some of the most expensive bits on a car to design and manufacture, since they are so tightly regulated and rigorously tested. OEMs spend literally millions of dollars designing and testing headlight assemblies to conform with regulations and provide optimum lighting. Most smaller volume car makers like Ferrari and Lamborghini (back when they were independent anyway) can't even afford to do it themselves and use lights from other cars.HID the new flavour of rice-a-wrongy.
...and then people like the OP go ahead and replace them with $5 Chinese eBay units anyway. Because that guy putting them together in a shed in China obviously knows more about lights than Toyota or Honda does.
