Is high forum traffic tied to the RFD business model?

I'm just wondering how important forum traffic is to this business, and whether RFD puts a high value on the number of hits the board gets in terms of ad revenue and search engine relevance. Is this the case, and if it is do you value those posters who contribute to generating the highest amount of traffic on the forums?

Value is an obscure word.

If the response is "yes, we value."
Then the next question is "How?" "What does value mean?"

I am curious, what is your definition of value in this application?

RFD should have a REAL forum app. Partner up with tapatalk to create a standalone app and RFD gets mobile revenue from Google.

You can use their technology and not be obligated to let them connect via tapatalk if the price is right ;)

Also vBulletin makes apps too. They also allow for mobile revenue via Google.

Of course all these options costs money but that is easily made back from mobile revenue.

Just something for YPG/RFD to consider.
