It's prom, you have to go with a girl. Not doing so violates all the rules of prom.
Go with the girl who gives you the best chance of getting laid. That's just my opinion.
After all, what's prom without sex in the hotel room afterward?

If you were really a nerd, you'd be staying home on prom night so this scenario would never come up in the first place.

I am a little confused because of all the winking and the smiley faces getting in the way.
Anyways, it's a better thing that your friend has no money nor has no drivers license. You don't need that to impress her.
Well if the friend asks the girl out...and the other guy hears about it. He'll be sad...but yeah...c'mon.
What YOU SHOULD DO IS.
Go up to the one girl and say, hey um my friend has something he wants to say to you and you drag her over. Then you find the other girl and drag her in the same spot. Then you drag your guy friend over, and slap him silly until he asks her out. and they'll be like awww. okay we'll go out with your friend......or.... you ultra.

ya, don't go ballistic with spending. this won't be as a joyful night as what you will come to experience after the life of high school.

U know what? Just wear your nicest clothes u can find at home. Some people spend $1000 suites...only for prom. Then rent a mercedes car, a limo.....hotel...etc...wow...one day only.

The *wink* and
are very annoying.
Anyway, it doesn't matter if his those friends like the two girls. If they're not going to do anything about it then it's fair play. If they did something about it and failed then it's fair play. If they're too slow then it's fair play :P Worse thing that can happen is things might get a little awkward.
TONs of new couples are born at or before prom and then spend a happy summer together so don't be afraid to ask a girl out. There's only 2 months of school left for you to be embrassed if you failed and you won't see most of your schoolmates anymore so who cares what they think? Being the guy who got rejected is better than being the guy who's a coward.
Otherwise, lots of people go to the prom alone, it's fine. Think of it as a very very expensive formal dinner with friend.
I wish "your friend" luck.

going to prom alone would have been painfully lame.
It was a great night full of lots of drunkeness and my gf at the time made everything that much better.
Do whatever is less painful for related friendships but don't go alone.

lol...the worst that can happen is nothing. Your friend doesn't even say a word to the girl. Just do it. Since you are in on the situation, you should help your friend out. Since you don't like the girl, it's not hard for you. Make her come close to your friend, lock them in the washroom.

The winks are very annoying =\!!
well if she says yes, then you better have at least enough money to buy the ticket to prom. you can ask how you want to meet up or whatever. if you want, you could hang out with your friends. but, you should at least dance or hang out with her for a bit since you asked her.1)Lets say he asks one of the girls out and she complies. What happens there? My friend *wink* has no money nor does he have a drivers lisence. Does he tell her to meet up at the school? When he *wink* get to the school, since neither have ever dated before, does he just hang out with his friends while she hangs out with her's? If he hangs out with her, wouldn't it be awkard and wouldn't your friends be surprised?
it's like the other person said, fair play.2) When his *wink* friend finds out that you ask the girl of his dreams out, what would his reaction normally be? (both friends are really nice people)
it wouldn't seem gay, guys do go to the prom with other friends.3) If he just goes with his guy friends to the prom (to avoid the above two dillemma), would it seem gay? As in, do others do it? Is it still worth going and wasting upwards to $60+.

Go, your friend *wink*, to prom with a Girl. Who cares if a friend is crushing on a girl, if he seen her and didn't make his move its his fault. Remember she is not his, not in the ownership sense, unless he makes a move, and a failure to do so allows her to be open to be sexxed up by your friend *wink*. Your prospects are looking good, now make the move before he does !
