Higher Resale Value and Easier to Sell

the IP5 and Note 2 are similar now with edge going slightly to Note 2.. but unless you are buying purely to sell now/later, if you get an IP5, you have to use a really crappy phone lol. I'll pay more to use a much better phone. It's like SD vs HD when you compare the iphone to the current android crop of phones.

the nexus brand whether Samsung or the nexus 4 seem to hold the value. the n4 i think almost as much because of how hard it is to get a new one let alone a used. I'd almost go for an apple iPhone 4s over an iPhone 5 since i have heard so many bad remarks about it and also apple shares have plummeted since it came out.

its mute though since he already chose and as long as he is happy with it that is all that matters. i would buy a phone that didn't have much resell value but one that i truly enjoyed over one that i could resell at a higher price and not enjoy as much.
