Wow, 100 pounds, really? U like a lil mini buff guy? How do u hold the dumbell behind head? Like both hands on their side an jus reach behind? Or cross em then go behind?

Just like with any other muscle group, doing situps with high weights and low reps will have a different result than low/no weight and high reps. If you want to workout abs, also consider oblique situps too for the sides. Having big abs that stick out look funny if your obliques aren't proportional in size.
sounds like core training to me

I think he holds the weight on his chest/stomach. That's the most common way of doing it, from what I've seen.
I also hold it behind my head. You get the same load on the abs with less weight, and you also have a more consistent resistance. When you put plates on your chest, by the time you're near the top all the weight is no longer torquing you as it's above the pivot point.

Hmmm... never did that exercise before... I always do my abs w/o weights... nice though. Good feeling when you're hitting or surpassing your goals!
Bye fare the most grueling exercise for me is chin-ups or squats...
