You can benchmark their connects from here......
https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/network/#
BTW, that benchmark only tests downloads, not uploads.

The hacking of the Sony Playstation network which compromised the names, passwords, e-mail addresses, home addresses and dates of birth of thousands of people.
The DDOS attack which knocked the British governments SOCA (Serious Organised Crime Agency) and other government websites offline.
The release of various sensitive and confidential information from companies such as AT&T, Viacom, Disney, EMI, NBC Universal, and AOL.
Gaining access to NATO servers and releasing documents regarding the communication and information services (CIS) in Kosovo.
The defacement of British newspaper websites The Sun & The Times.
The hacking of 77 law enforcement sheriff websites.
You're fine if you just want to watch U.S. Netflix, Hulu, U.S. TV network sites.
Torrents? Well if they really want to, they'll connect the dots. However, people who don't do anything and fully expose their IPs are easy fruit for authorities.

When you use a VPN, does the traffic go through the servers? Thinking for newsgroups, would the VPN provider get upset at the traffic?

WD TV Live
Can this be setup on the WD TV Live media player? I would like to get US Netflix on the player if it can be setup directly on the player setting without going through the router.
Anyone know?
Thanks.

Most of them allow unlimited traffic. Speeds are usually decent but you may need to spend some time configuring it. I am using privateinternetaccess and without much configuring I am getting 18 mbps download (I don't care about upload) and I am currently on a 20mbps connection (it was $300 per year because my fiancee is a student)

Yesterday I had to accept terms and conditions on Unblock Us website. Otherwise they did not let me change the netflix service to another country.
