HMV - 2 Blu-ray's - $25

Just did a quick search of the forums and didn't see this posted.

I was at HMV at Bramalea City Centre in Brampton yesterday and they had several Blu-ray's on sale, 2 for $25.

Some of the titles I saw were:

American Psycho
Basic Instinct
Crash
Dirty Dancing
Rambo
Rambo 2
Reservoir Dogs
Rocky (the first one)
Saw
Saw II
Terminator: Judgment Day
The Devil's Rejects
Total Recall
King of New York
Ultimate Avengers
Waiting
Young Guns

Pretty good deal if you liked any of those movies @ $12.50 each it's better than Sig's daily $12.99

HMV is actually really cheap when it comes to Bluray...a lot of good titles for $20.

Standout title was the entire first season of Weeds (!), included in the deal.

In addition to Weeds, the other standout to me was Resevoir Dogs.

This I have to ask about. What MIR for BDs was all over the place in Q4 of '08? The last MIR I remember for 5 free BDs ended around February of '08, which was slightly after the Warner exclusivity announcement. I remember waiting for a new MIR then to get a "backup" 60GB PS3 with movies I wanted a bit more, but well... Didn't happen.
So, where can I find the details of the Q4 '08 MIR? Only details I can come up with are the earlier MIR. I'm sure there are lots of people that took advantage of the BB $50 coupon on a MGS PS3 that wouldn't mind 5 free BDs either.

It was Q4 '07... I think the poster got the years mixed up. I bought my PS3 in December 07 and was able to get the 5 free blurays.

I think the rebate you're thinking of is the same one he was referring to (i.e., the 5 BDs by mail-in rebate from Q1 2008)

... 5 free BDs ... 3 for me .. 2 for BBV

WM had Reservoir Dogs for $9.99 during Boxing week event!

Just checked out another HMV location @ Trinity Common in Brampton and updated the list.

I'll check out the BB & FS ones this weekend... none of these really appeal to me that much
