I love ramen and Santouka is great, but there is no way I am lining up for hours to save $5. I will happily pay regular price for ramen!

I used to think Sansotei had the best ramen in the GTA but after Sansotei raised their price and removed their cha siu from their Spicy Tan Tan ramen, I started going to Santouka more and have to say, Santouka takes the crown.

I highly recommend their Spicy Kara Miso ramen.

There's usually a line for regular price so I'm not sure if it'll be worth it for this promotion. Good luck

If the lines for Santouka (my fave ramen chain btw... Kara Miso baby!) in Toronto are like the ones here in Vancouver, I might as well start lining up for this Toronto sale.. here in Vancouver.

But Santouka is a lot more expensive than Sansotei, no?

Last time I went to this place the eggs were HARD boiled instead of soft. I thought maybe that's just how this chain does it but looking at youtube vids of other locations, they all served soft boiled.

Really depends. Sansotei's ramen typically has a stronger flavor profile--the black garlic tonkotsu is very, very good, while Santouka has a lighter, creamier profile. Depends what you like, really.

Personally I'm a fan of Santouka.
