I'd say so, if the LEDs are bright enough to shine through flesh.

You wouldn't find it on the instructions for legal and pc reasons... but the super bright led light is for temporary blinding the intruder at night, then you beat them with the bat part of the light.
The Devil made me buy it - RFD.

Anyone know if these are legal to keep in your car? i know that keeping a baseball bat in your car (when it isn't baseball season) can get you in trouble with police.

We're basically not allowed to carry anything that could be considered a weapon without a valid reason, and self-defense isn't a valid reason. If a cop saw you carrying this or sitting inside the car, they could use it as an excuse for a search. If you got caught doing something dumb while carrying it, they'll likely consider it a weapon.

Novelty ... just looks like a baseball bat. Another reason why the old 4/6 D cell Maglites were so popular with some people. The sheer weight of those batteries were something..

I don't think there's anything illegal about simply having a bat in your car - walking around with it is a different story, depending on circumstances.

True, there's nothing wrong with having a knife for example, but you wouldn't be walking down the middle of the street brandishing one.
They will want to strike up a conversation.

Tape/superglue a small kitchen knife to the front, and you have yourself a blinding flashlight+baseball bat+short spear all in one.

Keep in your house for self defense.

You can use this in combination of a handgun or self made shield.

(Be sure you can still change your light bulb and battery when you tape/superglue it.)
