I submitted like 2 weeks ago. Haven't heard anything yet. I'm sure they'll start to process the claims after the deadline has passed.
I sent my stuff in on June 2nd. Haven't heard anything back yet.

Has anyone heard back yet? I've already had the second month's fee charged by Equifax.

Last week? The claim had to post marked by June 23 to be eligible.

I meant the last week of the claim period. I sent it around June 19 from Toronto

We’re all a little s…
As I said above, I suspect they would start processing after the deadline has passed.
I imagine they'll have a lot of claims to process, and I wouldn't expect to hear anything until the end of July at the earliest.

There's another thread somewhere in shopping discussion I think. Another poster claimed to have gotten a cheque in the mail for only $30...

Thanks for the suggestion Speedy1. I called to cancel and they will cut the price in half for 12 mos. if you say that you want to cancel because you don't like the price.

(I actually like the product and want to keep it as a card churner and since I have a mortgage renewal coming up)

Also: You still may cancel at any time.. accepting the 50% discount does not 'lock you in'.

I had it for ~1 yr free with HD before. It was interesting at beginning but found it to be no big deal later on. I don't even bother to check my borrowell, credit karma, etc. credit score or report on a regular basis any more. We have been churning credit cards and getting loans left and right as will.

Yeah I have had equifax try to talk me out of cancelling. Don't remember hearing about a 50% discount though. Thanks for sharing.

Still no cheque for me yet (super frustrating).

I called Equifax to cancel. I told them it was too expensive. They offered to reduce my monthly payment by 50% if I didn't cancel.

We just bought a house, and the mortgage hasn't shown up on my credit report yet. I'm also still churning MBNA 0% BT MC's. Given the price drop and the (possible) refund coming from the Home Depot Data Breach settlement, I opted to keep the service at the reduced price for at least a couple months to see what my credit score looks like after all my recent life events settle and get reported.

If I get a cheque from the settlement, great, if not, then at least I'm not paying full price for the service and I'll be cancelling this service in a few months.
