how is this ladder compared to the canadian tire Maximum 6ft step ladder? price difference isnt' much.

https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/maxi ... p.html#srp

The maximum has 1 year warranty vs 90 on the featherlite?
Anyone have experience with both brands?
Now that you mentioned it, I'll go to the stores to compare the build quality and sturdiness of both before deciding. i don't think the warranty makes a difference, just compare weight, sturdiness/stable, ease of setting up/collapsing. My ladder is still the same after 20 years compared to my neighbour's flimsy aluminum ladder. Pay once, last forever.

1. IMHO, I think Featherlite is a better brand.
2. Home Depot has far better return policy.
3. Price is cheaper, plus ebates Smiling Face With Sunglasses
4. Free shipping

The Featherlite steps have 2 rivets vs 1 on the Maximum
The feets on the Maximum seems to be better re-inforced however
Featherlite is 17lb (as per specs) vs 18 for the Maximum

For all we know, it could be made by Featherlite lol

No tray ? How do people use this ladder for jobs that require you to carry something up?

thanks guys for the input. @Daijoubu @astute12

I think i'll just go pick this up instead of shipping. This feels like it could be damaged on delivery.

Just bought it. Didn't realize it came bundled with with two wall hanging hooks too!

It's physically bundled on the top of mine.

Last year, bunch of these hooks fell off or were taken off their packaging in store, YMMV.
