[Home Depot] LAVA HOT - YMMV: DeWalt DWE7491RS Portable Table Saw - $303.30 Reg:$849

The Milton Home Depot is clearing out their top-of-the-line, well-reveiwed, DeWalt DWE7491RS portable tax saw.

Extreme YMMV.

Regular price is $849.
The original clearance sticker on the box was for $699.
I originally purchased at $457. (minus $20 for signing up for a Home Depot card).
New price is $337 (minus 10% = $303.30).

I applied for a Home Depot credit card and received another $20 off making it $437+HST, which is a fantastic price for this saw.
Thanks to @gleech , I went back to take advantage of the 10% off purchases of $299 or more on your Home Depot card.
New price is $337 (minus 10% = $303.30).

Happy Hunting!

When you open a new Home Depot credit card, they give you $20 off.

HD have a 10% off right now on $299 up purchase. Should have get $40 off on your purchased. Go back for return and re-buy on your HD card to get the 10% off plus your $20 off(not sure how you got this one).

Where did you find the 10% information?
There are $20 signs throughout the Milton HomeDepot. It says, "Want to save $20, just ask".

I have the older version of this. The added dust collection above the blade is a nice touch and I would love to have the table, but need to find one now separately.

Actually this is the guy I have, got it when it was 279 I think

Today is my luck day!

Thanks to @gleech I went back to the Home Depot in Milton and asked to return the table saw and buy back with the 10% discount.

This is how the conversation went:

[me] Hello, I'd like to return and re-buy this saw to take advantage of the 10% off offer when purchasing $299 or more on a Home Depot credit card.
[cs] Sure. No problem.
Starts punching in and offers me a refund in the old amount.
While ringing in the new purchase, the saw shows up at $337.00
[me] (after a momentary pause) Excuse me, I think that there's been an error, the saw should be $437 ($457-$20 for new card discount).
[cs] Ummm... I think that's the right price.
My eyes light up like it's Christmas!
She goes off and checks another computer and comes back.
[cs] Yup, that's the right price. It must have dropped since Wednesday.
[me] Do you have any more in stock? (because I'd buy them all)
[cs] No.
[me] Ok.
She proceeds to then ring in the 10% off coupon on top of that price.
Total came to $303.30+HST.

I ran out of that store as fast as possible!

What a steal!

She did say that many stores in the area do have stock (1 or 2) but couldn't tell me the prices. So check around. You might get luck as well!

Good point. Maybe I should go back! NOT!

Funny story. I was waiting to get a price on some clearance batteries and a contractor was saying that he wished that he purchased that table saw.
He said that he saw them two weeks ago at that price but didn't pull the trigger.
Then he saw someone buying one the other day and went to also get one but they were all gone. :)

A couple of points:
-There is stock, albeit low numbers at each of the stores.
- Prices will come down with time.
- Now there is precedence.

My local store said they won’t price match clearance items from other stores and had no plans of putting their stock on clearance. Also said they were in a different district, but I’m not sure what that meant/mattered.

Thanks anyway OP!
