The rockwell wrench i have is only 210 ft lbs...! That being said, what kind of job requires that kind of torque (700 ft lbs)?
Heavy equipment.

My rockwell works great for lugs and anything else I need around home

Too bad I just got the ryobi, which is quite wimpy (300ft-lbs) compared to this! Would have snapped this up. Anyone know if the 700ft-lbs was verified in testing? Seems like quite a bit given the size.
We have a load of these at work and on a fresh battery they'll tighten to about 500ft/lbs. That's verified with a torque wrench

These things are awesome

I bought the 450ft lb version just before they came out with the newer ones. Love it. Has been a huge help at the wrecking yard I go to. If I find one at this price I wouldn't hesitate.

No luck calling & finding if any stores even carry them in the Vancouver area... Can't find it online, either. Am I doing something wrong here? I have the 2763 (700/1100ft-lb version), but would love to upgrade at this price.

Does this have one key model, so you can set torque settings via app?

It has different drive control modes that limit RPM & IPM. That's one of the reasons I'd like to upgrade mine at this price. No one key, though. I use these on automotive/commercial/heavy duty machines. They WILL break bolts if you're not careful.

Off-topic, user name related? I'm currently watching Rob Chapman reviews on some PRS SE series stuff since I can't find a 277 Baritone locally to try, but want one.

There's one in Langley but it looks like it's regular price. Not sure if it will ring up for less.

I picked one up at the billy bishop location. It was regular price and I showed the manager the picture of the sale the OP had and asked him to price match. He said they don't price match other stores. I said it's a little ridiculous that you guys will price match another company, but not your own and that each location has different pricing... He ended up giving it to me for $191.
Worth a shot for those who want to bother.

Have no need for this but saw one at the Burnaby HD near still creek.

It’s over in the cart of assorted no home stuff, in the tool section.

Thanks, will have to go by Burnaby in the morning. Work nights, getting stuff ready now, likely pushing it for time to get there & back for work. Go figure, can't get anyone on the phone at either store to check pricing.

Update: Finally got through @ Langley. Showing 8 in stock, but they aren't willing to match the price.
Update 2: Same from Burnaby. Employee said he's had 3 people come in and show him the picture, but they won't match the price. Seeing as I have the last version, I doubt it's worth the hassle of trying to get a manager to match in store for me now unless I happen to have the time to swing by a store for some other reason. Damn graveyard shifts...
