[Home Depot] Milwaukee M12™ 5-Tool Combo Kit

If you are looking to jump into the M12 ecosystem this deal seems like a decent way to do so. Non of the tools are Fuel version which means brushed motors.

I am not a contractor but I use my tools almost everyday and I have never had a brushed version let me down.

If you were to buy all the bare tools and batteries separate you would be at ~$500

M12 3/8 -inch drill driver delivers 250 -inch lbs. of torque in a compact light weight design
M12 ratchet delivers up to 35 ft. lbs. of torque with variable speed metal trigger for greater control
M12 1/4 -inch hex impact driver delivers best-in-class 850 -inch/lbs. of torque at only 2.3 lbs. and 0-2000 RPM for fast driving
M12 Hackzall reciprocating saw delivers 0-3000 SPM at only 2.6 lbs. and 11 -inch for quick cutting in tight spaces
REDLITHIUM battery technology: superior pack construction, electronics and performance deliver more work per charge and more work over pack life than any battery on the market
Includes: M12 3/8 -inch Drill Driver, M12 1/4 -inch Impact Driver, M12 3/8 -inch Ratchet, M12 HACKZALL, M12 LED Work Light, M12 Charger, Contractor Bag & (2) 1.5Ah batteries

Additional Combo set as pointed out by @Snowslip

5 Piece Combo Set

This kit has a Multi Tool and an extra battery instead of a 3/8 Ratchet:

M12 Cordless 3/8 inch Drill-Driver delivers 275 inch lbs. of torque in a compact and lightweight design
M12 REDLITHIUM Cordless HACKZALL Reciprocating Saw helps you make fast, precise cuts through a wide range of materials, including drywall, wood and PVC
M12 12-Volt lithium-ion Cordless Multi-Tool is ideal for flushing or plunging cuts, removing grout or grinding thinset, sanding or scraping.
M12 Cordless 1/4 inch Impact Driver delivers 1,000 in-lbs of torque
Compatible with all M12 batteries
Metal ratcheting chuck for maximum durability
Powerful M12 cordless lithium-ion 3/8 -Inch drill/driver delivers 275 -Inch / lbs. of torque up to 25% more torque than the competition and 0-400/0-1,500 RPM
Includes the M12 3/8 inch Drill/Driver (2407-20), M12 HACKZALL (2420-20), M12 Multi-Tool (2426-20), M12 1/4inch HEX Impact Driver (2462-20) and M12 Worklight (49-24-0146), 3 M12 REDLITHIUM Batteries, Charger, Bag

Every home owner should own a 12V Lithium drill at a minimum! Small but powerful enough for most of the work around the house

Nice Find. Ill add this to the post. I've been wanting the ratchet specifically as I do more wrenching than carpentry type work.

Thanks OP. I've been on the fence about getting a Milwaukee power ratchet. I think this seals the deal.

Depends on what you'll be using the tools for. The ratchet is a great tool if you do a lot of mechanical work and is worth to get as a standalone but is even better in a combo.

No stock in all of Horseshoe area.

Too bad since I already bought the ratchet back in July with the starter kit. Would have loved to add this to the collection

I got the ratchet on a deal not thinking I would use it much, but it's now one of my favourite tools.

I was always anti-cordless tools - didn't feel I used them enough to warrant not just running an extension cord when I needed to drive or drive something. This summer someone gifted me a Ryobi cordless drill and driver set. Game. Changer. I break these things out almost weekly now, and for basic driving jobs haven't touched a screwdriver in months. These tools will pay for themselves ten times over by the time I need to buy a replacement battery in the future.

Nice deal on the Milwaukee set with three batteries. I just bought into the Ridgid system due to the bare tool deals that Home Depot had in October (return 'free' battery for additional savings).

Milwaukee is also a good choice and likely a bit better quality than Ridgid, but for most non contractors who aren't using these 24/7 I think I would recommend Ridgid due to the cheaper prices and lifetime warranty.

Except there’s no stock anywhere
You can order online with free shipping. If I wasn't heavily into Ridgid, I'd be seriously considering the Milwaukee set with 3 batteries. Too bad it doesn't include the hammer drill.

I would give this kit a strong recommendation, if you can find it.

I have the same drill/driver + impact driver kit (with an extra 4 ah battery), the same ratchet, and the M12 Fuel version of the Hackzall, all purchased separately for about $375 total. I use them all a lot, and they are great tools. The LED light obviously isn't worth a lot extra, but hey, it lets them say "5 tools".

It would have been better if they threw in a 4ah battery. The Hackzall eats battery power fast - a 1.5 ah battery is way too small for it, so this kit really is incomplete without a 4ah battery. A cordless reciprocating saw needs as much power and stroke length as possible to extend its useful range, and the non-Fuel M12 version is a bit short on both to tackle heavier jobs. Don't get me wrong, it would be fine for cutting PVC pipe and hacksawing through nails and bolts, and it's light enough to use one-handed.
