It sells for $500 where are you people looking at MSRP? Canadian Tire?
This is the FUEL set, you're likely looking at regular sets.

Brushless motors which means longer life, less maintenance, and more power from the battery.

For what it's worth, to the average home user, brushed motors vs. brushless motors is practically meaningless. If you make your living with your tools, brushless all the way.

Many thanks to the op

Been waiting for the 2897-22 to go on sale for almost a year (the two drill set with batteries), but it actually went up in price.

This set is an absolute steal at that price.

Managed to get the last one in burlington this morning and price adjusted at my local home depot.

Was at the united blvd Home Depot in coquitlam earlier, there is one with a big green sticker saying display missing 1 battery and impact something was tagged 360, pretty sure you should be able to talk them down. It was on top of the mitre saws near the clearance tables

Actually called in as I saw your post and wasn't able to get there that night. So they held it until I could drive to new market to pick it up

Thanks to the arsehole to said his name was Ivan and took the one I had on hold Pouting Face
I've asked them to put things on hold many times and when I arrived, it wasn't on hold; just left out and a bit hidden away (as HD staff is not suppose to place holds, as one associate told me).

One time, I had something on hold and when I came to pick it up; they thought it was a RMA and sent it off to the back. Could no longer sell it, as it was in the RMA process.

The only way to ensure you get one is the buy it online and call them immediately to confirm that it's in stock and tell them you're coming by now to get it.

On Hold = Game of Luck

Unless you really need this set of tools immediately. I would recommend holding off, as tools get improved all the time.

So as far as I'm reading here, Morningside or Ajax are the only 2 posted at $360. Any in the GTA west? As far west as possible would be nice. Just ended up buying the last set from Cambridge location.

I stopped by my Brampton Home Depot on Tuesday and their hardware manager, Richard, said he sold all his on the weekend for 360$.
I plan to go here to get it adjusted. Mississauga road and Williams parkway
