#$%&@(#&&^$^%# ... order got canceled, I actually really needed these this time!

$15 GC too ... had hoped it was $25 like before.
I'd rather be outdoors camping, kayaking, and mountain biking ...

Sadly, I received the dreaded cancellation email too.

I contacted Ridgid this morning by email to inquire about the Lifetime Service Agreement for this kit. This was their response and may be helpful for those who will buy this in the future.

"Thank you for you question! Yes, the AC840094SB2 is an LSA eligible kit and carries the LSA after registration within 90 days of purchase from The Home Depot (either online or in-store)."

I got the email saying I'd get the $15 gift card. For those that have experienced this before should the code have been in that email or will it arrive later?

Order canceled as well.
Of course now I REALLY want the deal. Before the cancellation, not so much.
Damn I'm fickle.

Just got the cancellation email. You really have to love Home Depot - I bought this without even owning any RIGID Drills, hoping that the order would be cancelled and I'd get a gift card. Free $15 for my next purchase!
Damn I was watching this thread yesterday wondering if I should throw in a purchase and had I known you could get a free gift card for the effort if it got cancelled I would've put one in. :(

I'm always amazed when stores don't honor a posted price (error or not) and wonder what level of management made the decision. Its not like they were selling a $1300 snowblower for $130, its a set of plastic batteries and charger. I am pretty sure HD was still making money at $130. Now instead of a bunch of shoppers feeling like they got a deal, they feel a little jilted.

In reality i am guessing (like myself) most people on this thread don't need them anyway - my batteries all have LSA and i was still going to buy more....its a sickness...

haha i agree what u said it's a sickness for all of us to keep buying batteries altho we may have plenty on hand.

however, i think that's the way to do business. HD may honor the price IF it's only 1 or 2 individual buyers got it for $130 for these plastic batteries / charger, but rfd effect is strong (at least 32 of us who thumbed up on this thread) will make homedepot not happy about it as we take advantage on it.

we should show appreciation for this free $15 gift card as a courtesy gesture. however, I M SURE LOWES WILL NOT DO SHIT ABOUT IT if the same incident happens!!!

Mine was shipped as well, was wondering why I didn't receive the $15 GC email yesterday. Hopefully this's not an error again.

When did you order yours? I'm just surprised I got mine, when others who ordered earlier got the cancel email... I paid via Paypal if it made a difference...
