I picked 1 up last week. After running for 10hrs my 9ah battery was down less then 1 bar
I'm guessing that's a typo and that you really meant a 4Ah battery, as that is the largest that HD sells.

EDIT: I was corrected in the next post. 6Ah and 9Ah are available.

Incorrect, actually the 3rd largest. They sell a 6 and a 9ah battery.

Thanks. I stand corrected and will be buying a new 9Ah battery shortly. Not specifically for the fan, but for other tools!

Home Depot has 18V Ryobi hybrid fans on sale for $29.88 (regular price $54.98). Model number P3320.
I'd rather have Ridgid, but for the price, it should do. We'll see if it can keep the bugs away
what does bare tool mean? doesn't come with battery?

nevermind...LOL

Data point:

grabbed one of these last year. used it daily and the fan started to stutter to a slower speed occasionally after a half year to nine months usage. took it to a Ryobi authorized repair shop, they took it in no questions under the 3 years warranty, investigated a week, and determined it's not fixable and asked Ryobi to send me a refurbished one from the states. I haven't got the chance to test out the new refurbished one just yet.

i notice the US ryobi deals - but two 3.o Ah batteries for 99 and get a free fan. I'm in the Us this wknd so might take advantage of that and return this one.

Did you have to show receipt? I need to start keeping my receipts.

Yes. I always get Home Depot to email my receipts, and I showed the shop a printout of the email receipt.
