[Home Depot] TORO 721 R single stage snowblower $575

Got Toro 721 R (recoil ) price beaten by HD for 575+ tax.
HD have it listed for 748 ....hd link

Kooy bros.com have it listed for 669..but shows out of stock online .kooy link...

So I called in at kooy and they gave me a quote of 639 and they have it in stock.

Called home depot and told them about it and got it price beaten down to 575 +taxes ...that's some deal for that quality snowblower ....
Winter is coming ....

For some of you guys who might be intrested I posted receipt along with this

I know some of you will say stage 2 is better .but after getting feedback on here and doing some research single stage are the best for your wallet and back in my opinion .

Good price. That reminds me that I need to get my Honda blower serviced before the winter. It was starting to backfire on throttle when the choke was fully in last winter. It's probably running rich.

How did HD verify that Kooy actually has it in stock? My local HD always asks for proof either online or easily verifiable.

Told her to call them .On website it was saying 669 and out of stock .
She did and confirmed it was 639 .

Don't go to local HD. They don't give a f**k....call online customer care ...my local HD wouldn't have done it .I always get things done on phone

A quality single stage blower, but missing quik chute. I'd REALLY miss that feature. Absolutely love my Toro 221QZR - quik chute and recoil.

Depends on location. My local HD is staffed largely by retirees and they are more than happy to price match other vendors. We got or GE cafe stove $1300 under the Home Depot price by just showing them the Canadian appliances website.

Best thing I ever bought was this snowblower! My buddy convinced me to buy it when I was complaining about how my big two stage was so heavy and didn't really save me any energy. These are awesome, and I recommend them to everyone now! I will say that I'm in Winnipeg, and because of our general cold, we don't get a lot of slushy snow. It struggles with that, but still gets through it just fine.

I think there could be significant price increases coming for new stock machines due to the trade war steel/ aluminium tariffs.

The price for components to build the machines in the US increased due to the US import tariffs
.... edit....and then Canada also has retaliatory import tariffs on the completed assembled machines......

(New info - I had a look at the new import tariffs on US made products - lawn mowers are specifically called out for new tariffs but snow blowers aren’t)

Anybody that needs a machine should snap up whatever old stock is available

I was so impressed by mine that I bought a Toro lawnmower........I'm not quite as blown away by the lawnmower.
