[Home Depot] Toro Lawn Mower 20339 PM with Kooy Brothers $390.60

For anyone in the GTA who is looking for a basic self propelled Toro lawn mower, Kooy Brothers has the Toro 20339 priced at $434. Home Depot has the same at $498 list in their flyers for a couple of weeks now. I printed the product page from Kooy Brothers and show it to the cashier at HD and they PM+10% off.

Total Price $434 - $43.4 = $390.6+tax

Yes I realize Kooy Brothers Website says Sale Ends May 31, 2017. I had no problem with the PM when I did it earlier this month. Receipt attached.

Most of these "big box" retailers such as Home Depot / Lowes / Rona will sell the
brand name lawn & garden units for less than authorized dealers such as Kooy Bros

However one should consider the big box store's return policy ...

There was a recent RFD thread about someone buying a lawn mower, having second thoughts
and trying to return it back to the big box store (from last week).

return-policy-lawn-mowers-2104396

(Basically one Cannot return a mower at a big box store after being used - unless proven defective)

Let's say If there are problems and one is not a handyperson, then one is going
to have to visit an authorized dealer such as Kooy Bros.
(I know most brand name units such as a Toro are excellent in quality)

Usually most authorized dealers will let a customer return If one returned it back after using it once
(trade for another mower ... aware it's a credit minus fee but one gets something back)

These lawn mowers don't go bad as long as u do light maintaence every year, oil add every year, change every 3, filter every 3, sparkplug every 3.

Thanks OP, I pricematched at Home Depot to get the 20340! Its a great model, they had it in stock however, didn't have it demoed on the floor. It was on a sign tucked away to the side, and the same MSRP as other models with 163cc. The salesperson there could not explain the pricing.
