It should work with a 4.5V DC power adapter. Now, you have to deal with wires.
I am planning to use the cheap IKEA AA rechargeable battery with AA to C battery adapter.
Can I use a phone charger? It's 5v... just chop off the USB head. I imagine this shouldn't take too much amperage.

Yeah terrible reviews on HD USA https://www.homedepot.com/p/Hampton-Bay ... /206135496
Well... We will see the final clearance sale for $5 or less after most of us have returned this door bell to the local stores. LOL
But I will play with it first. I will be happy if the door button works well in my house.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
1x 7-11 Speakout, 2x Koodo $28 plan, $0 FPL home phone, 1x PM $45 5.5GB plan
1x Zoomer $36 loyalty plan, 1x Zoomer loyalty family plan for 4 numbers $117($72 + 2x$22.5)
