These are great...until you purchase two of them and place them side by side.
My two units tell me different humidity and temperature values, now I don't know which one to trust.

hygrometer +/- 8%
thermometer +/- 2oC

FWIW, I purchased it on Amazon for $7.50

If I could get a Rolls Royce for the price of a Honda, I'd buy it too!

According to the official website
hygrometer +/- 5%
thermometer +/- 2oC

You find anything more accurate for $5 please let us know.

Ive been using these for years, always seem to be accurate. I like the magnetic option. Have about 4-5 around the house and the garage. I like the built in humidty as well. Tracks the last 24 hours with no complicated setup. Install the batteries and it does its thing

Bought 4 more as gifts. They are simple and just work. Big display is nice to just glance if you want. My garage one is on the side of the fridge, so I can see temps and humidity

Just buy ten of these, line them all up and take the average reading of all ten.

If you need it to be that precise then buy a better model. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

EDIT
I changed my store to a different one (literally across town) and it shows up for $5 but the add to cart option is gone :/

Got 2 of them last year at HH when they had this same promo, work great, and find them to be pretty accurate

According to the official website (your link), the temperature tolerance is +/-2degF.
At approximately room temperature, that equates to an accuracy of +/- 1.1deg C.
I'm getting +/-2degC, so it's about half the accuracy that it advertises.

Also, According to the official website (your link), the rel humidity tolerance is +/-3% (at 20%-80% rel humidity).
I'm getting +/- 8% at roughly 50% rel humidity, so it's less than half the accuracy that it advertises.

You're right though, you get what you pay for.... false advertisement?
Not if the actual temp is between your two readings...one unit is too high and other unit is too low within the margin of accuracy.
