Wait a year or 2 from now. Home insurance rates will keep going up.

I got quoted through INOVA (Costco). Dominion (Travelers) provided the best quote for me. They also kicked TD's butt on what I thought was a great rate for Auto (beat them by $1000 / year for Auto).
Bump, apologies :)

How has your experience been with Travelers so far? Do you just have them for home, what about auto.

Thank you

For your rental, try sonnet. I couldn't believe how cheap they are when it comes to rental. 43.5% cheaper in my case plus sonnet lets you pay monthly without extra cost.

I have to look into this INOVA (Costco). Dominion (Travelers)

Just got a quick quote from INOVA (Costco)/ Dominion (Travelers) via costco.ca

My current principal residence insurance: CDI/Belair $1,965
Sonnet $2,858
INOVA (quick quote) $2,418
Just got another INOVA (detailed quote), change to $2 mil liability and earthquake coverage (which is what I have now but not sure INOVA's earthquake deductible) $4,774

Somebody say INOVA is cheap??

I am paying this much for a 4000 sq ft detached home in BC. Am I paying OK or too much?
Wow. Earthquake premium is yuge in BC.
I guess chit gets pricey when BC falls into the ocean with California.
