Not sure if I missed reading it with my tired eyes but what about setup fees? Costs like these just makes me too lazy to consider switching LOL

it actually works to get your wife to sign up? assume you have to return all equipment and then they will bring new stuff again?
guess that's my only option here.

So it seems $45 for unlimited is the lowest it gets? My promo with Rogers ended. Looking to switch.

I talked with a shaw rep through facebook and here is what he said: "New deal is internet 300 with total tv at $59 first year and $109 2nd year with 4 months free"
[/quote]
Is this available in Winnipeg?

Be thankful they did not jack it with $3/mo like they did on mine 7 months into the 12-month period.
I guess threatening cancellation and going to retentions is the only option to possibly keep it.

Same here. On month to month until I see a better contract deal. Last time I called Shaw retention they would get me something close to what new customers are getting. Might move to Telus in this case.

Seems lot of RFDers like me with expired Roger's internet are looking for similar plans. I am still keeping hopes for new offers. I was currently on $35 150/15 plan and they gradually increased by $3 so paying $42/month. From next few days, it will be $10 addition per month for another 12 months. So a $30-35 plan would be ideal to steal.

I signed up for the Internet 150 deal: save $35 per month for 2 years. Regular $95/month, now only $60/month.

My current Rogers deal on 500mb is ending on January ($30+tax) in Toronto. I messaged the chat through the Rogers Portal to renew, was offered $45+ tax
Told them I would like to cancel it after january, they transferred me to another person and I was offered $35+tax and I took it. Modem rental included.

Just called to cancel Rogers so I could sign up with Fido's Black Friday 50% off deal. Rogers countered with $34.99 for 150u for 12 months. Took it.
