if u got msn on both you can msn it over . if you are on a network you usally can go pretty fast i have done 6 gigs in 2 mins before over msn on my wifi network .
other ways would be to enable sharing the folder and giving the other computers acess to them in permissions of that drive.

Home Network-How to access another computer's files?
I'm on a home network and want to transfer over some files from my old computer to my new one. How can I go about this?
Connected by wire too to a router. Burning CDs is a waste of time and a pain in the arse.
Any other solutions? Possibly through network file sharing or some such thing?
Thanks!_______________

Make sure you have the same domain specified on all computers.
You need to enable file and print sharing.
Once you have do so can you right click on a folder in your old computer and Enable sharing.
Goto your new computer and you should be able to see this folder in Network neighbourhood_______________
