I finally had a chance to make the treats yesterday afternoon (had to run out and buy Nutritional Yeast,) and while my cat didn't go crazy over them he clearly likes them. It was funny because he gobbled the first one down, but the second one was still a tad warm in the centre. He stopped chewing and held it in his mouth for a few seconds before deciding it was okay to swallow :) I'd suggest letting them cool completely before offering one to your cat because once they decide they don't like something it's usually game over in my experience.

Any way to add a crunch? My cats loves crunchy foods.

I don't think so because they turn out somewhat moist. I thought the same thing, and it occurred to me to dehydrate the portion I froze. I have a Breville toaster oven with a dehydration function that I've never used, so I guess there's finally a reason to try that feature. I'll have to research the correct way to use it first,, but I'll update this thread when/if I do :)
