6 days is hard to get as most packages go for 7nights/8days due to chartered airlines flight schedule...
I think Costa Rica fits your list, although it's not in the Caribbean, technically.
I'd been to Cozumel last year - a beautiful island, not too expensive, and a lot more laid back than nearby Cancun and Mayan Riviera - a great honeymoon destination

Honey moon trip - Any Ideas
Please provide any ideas regarding what place to choose in the Caribbean sector for my trip. My initial place is St.lucia but it seems bit costly. Below is some info i got for ur thoughts
4-5 Star Hotel
Looking for 6 days all inclusive meals + airfare
Beach area
Less ppl more nature areas
My budget is $4000
Trip is during Sept 1st week
Honemoon Suite ( Well its not a must but if anyone think i can afford on my budget)
I never been to Caribbean and this is my first trip. I am avoiding Cuba and Hawaii.
Thanks
Mayoo

The caribbean is a BIG place.
The first thing you should do is narrow it down to a few countries.
You might be able to do this by letting us know what you are looking for more specifically.
Skuba, Cozumel is suppose to be great
Shopping, St.Maarten has GREAT shopping
Adults Only, Jamaica has lots of these resorts (Sandals, Couples, Grand Lido), Mayan Riviera (Secrets, Excellence, Palace Resorts, El Dorado, IB Grand Paraiso)
History tours Mayan (Ruins-Tulum, Chichen Itza, Coba, etc)
Nature tours..just about everywhere, St. Lucia, Jamaica, Mexico
You get the point. When you say less people more nature are you talking about the island/country? or the resort?
Also I see you are in Ottawa, you might want to check out what countries are available to you from an Ottawa departure, because I don't think it will be all the same countries as TO.
September is cheaper, as it is hurricane season.
Aruba, Bonnaire, and Curacao are out of the hurricane area.
St. Lucia may be affordable if you book last minute, just a thought.

I see you are from Ottawa, get last Saturdays Citizen newspaper. In the travel section are dozens of trips within your budget, to most destinations in the Carribean as well as to West coast of Mexico and Spain (Costa Del Sol).

Thanks all for ur posts. I am in ottawa but my parents are in toronto so i can leave and return back to toronto too. I am interested in St.Lucia & Antigua but i am considering Jamica too. Has anyone been to Jamaica ? . What i mean by more nature and less ppl means less kids and less crowded. Since i am going on the off season i guess it will be less crowded.

Aruba.
No hurricane season there as it is outside the belt (south of everything else) and during September alot less people around (low season).

Check out Secrets Capri in the Mayan Riviera, went last winter, and although I was not on my honeymoon, I thought at the time it would have been a nice place to be had I been on my honeymoon. They put a banner on your door that says "honeymooners". We were there on Valentine's Day and they had a violinist playing in the gazebo by the pool, also cabana's were set up for sunset dinners by candle light on the beach. Very romantic!

Mayoo, I recently came back from my honeymoon about 2 weeks ago from a 7 day stay.
I hade the exact same criteria as you. I had been in the Caribbean 3 times before therefore I was very picky.
We ended up going to the Excellence Riviera in the Mayan Riviera. It was by far the nicest resort I've ever been to. We booked it through Sell Off Vacations. I'd recommend keeping an eye out on the prices since they vary a lot. We ended up paying around $4000 for both of us for 7 days.

It is rated #2 in all the Mayan Riviera. The rooms were amazing, the food was excellent, beach was nice, it is an adults-only resort (ie. no kids or party teens), somewhat quiet, many trips to do, etc. I'd recommend seeing the Cenote trips which are underground caverns/caves with lakes. This resort has zero buffets for dinner. Therefore you pick one of the 9 "a-la-carte" restaurants and you have a nice meal every night. You don't reserve it, you just walk in and get seated. If it is full (rarely when we went), they give you a pager and you go have some drinks while you wait.
If you want more details, feel free to PM me. We really had an amazing honeymoon there.

Riu Palace Aruba
Agreed. Riu Palace in Aruba is a great all inclusive resort. I just came back from there and for the 7 days I was there it was pure sunshine 32+ degree weather everyday. Good for snorkeling and we also rented a jeep for a day to check out the whole island. Very safe Island.

We took a cruise for our honeymoon. A cruise should fit your budget easily and provide you with the same ammenities of an all-inclusive.
