Horrbile experience with Mcdonalds
About 3 months ago when the 'free salad, parfait, chicken sandwich coupons were being distributed through cereal boxes my family and I purchased about 6 boxes of cereal for that reason, I mean hey after the cost of the food the cereal is free or visa versa so why not? Anyway we went in there used about 30 bucks worth of coupons for free food, the first person at the till was nice as pie, manager walks by and sees the coupons, takes over from the original cashier and gives us a really dirty look. So whatever shes a bag who cares, she gives us our food but does not give us burger and parfait that we ordered, go back up there and nicely tell them what happened, manager again steps in and tells us we only gave her X # of coupons, we were 100% sure we gave her the right amount in fact one was lying on the counter, my mom noticed that and said that, that was one of our coupons, manager says no it was another customers, I took a closer look at it (didnt touch it since it was behind the counter kinda) and it was ripped around the edges which is exactly what we had done with our coupons so I speak up, cuts me off and says no that is not your coupon it was another customers, I stepped out of it so did my mom. Dad calmly asks her to give us the food that we ordered, she gets all snippy and raises her voice. "I am giving you free food so be happy with what you have' (Eyes buldging out of her head) and that was it, my dad took the food and too show her that we dont really care about the free food he threw it in the garbage and we left. (Buy was she pissed
) We havent been back to that McDonalds yet and will never go back... Some family restaurant, oh and boy oh boy those coupons are so desirable, use them get free food but get treated like a mound of cheap dirt in the process
I tried to find a customer complaint email but couldnt find one
Does anyone know a email or form I can fill out?

Close your eyes for a moment and imagine your the manager of a McDonalds... pretty scary, huh? The main mistake the OP made here was walking through the front door...

agh, my eyes. Please use paragraphs next time if you can.
I've worked at Mcdonald's before and I know for a fact that the resturant gets reinbursed for every coupon they accept. I do not know why that manager would give you attitude (Perhaps she didn't know mcdonald's get reinbursed cause the head manager does the paperwork?), either than maybe he/she was just in a bad mood that day?
Complaints are taken care of and whenver a customer complains, the resturant is contacted and the individual is spoken to (That is if you wrote down his/her name as well in the complaint)
I forgot what the complaint number/e-mail is but you should be able to find it on McDonald's website.

I've also worked there and I recalled that some coupons don't get reimbused by the head office. Like about 7 years ago, the breakfast bagel came out, none of those coupons were reimbused by the head office.
Also, I believe there was a limit of coupons per customer. I don't know why they would take more then 1 coupon at a time. That's highly unsual. Maybe thats why the manager is pissed off since that is against policy.
Keep complaining.. lol Head office will give you more free food.

Are you sure she is the store manager and not just a supervisor? If shes just a supervisor, complain to the store manager and make lots of noise. If that doesn't work, contact McDonalds head office and make lots of noise.

If you're in the GTA, DEFINITELY contact Mcdonald's Head Office.
I was overcharged 1 time and luckily I kept the receipt. Called HO and complained and they were very helpful. Next day the Manager of the location calls and apologizes and offers a couple of free combos. So call and make some noise.

which McDonald's location???
how did the woman look like?
did you use the coupons for one big order?
or did you individually go up with one coupon?
coupon ettiquette: one coupon per person.
sometimes 2 coupons per person will be accepted.
ps. boycott McDonald's.

jokes on you because you let them get away with scamming you.
most managers wouldnt let a scene develop..they'd give you free food just so u'd leave the counter area and let others buy their food..
- u waited 3 months to do pretty much nothing
-threatening to call the cops is the best, really the cops wont be able to do much but the manager is the one who will have to deal with being questioned with "thieft" ..which essentially is your argument.
not everyone has the 'balls' to standup for themselfs...u have to masasge them after time and let them grow
btw, i would have thrown the food back at them too... good job by ur dad!

Limit one coupon per customer, per visit
That's what's listed on the back of the Free Parfait that I have laying around the apartment. Since it does not indicate that the coupon is valid for only one Parfait, it could be taken in context that it is one coupon per order per customer per visit. So from that view, they had the right not to honor your $30 in coupons. You got greedy in trying to cash in all the coupons at once.
The promotion simply is not meant to be used as a complete meal for a family of three.

I got the same kind of lousy service once but not as bad, at the Eaton's McDonald's in the lower floor.
They gave me the wrong salad, gave me a dirty McDonald's bag with crap in it (probably someone else's recycled bag), and then threw a single unwrapped fork in the dirty bag without croutons.

My girlfriend felt sick 2 times out of 2 when we ate at the downstairs Mcdonalds. We find the upstairs one cleaner.
