Hospital for Whitby residents

To those of you who live in Whitby, which hospital you guys go to if you need to go to ER?

I went to Lakeridge health in Oshawa, and I walked out after waiting 2 plus hours and seeing what happened. Lots of homeless and addicts. Also, saw an elderly in wheelchair vomiting and after 2 plus hours no one is calling her in. One lady was waiting no for 7 hours.

My daughter lives in north Whitby (Brooklin) and last week had great, fast, service at the Port Perry ER. The Hospital is back open after being closed for about 15 months after a fire.

Driving time was probably less for her than going down to the Oshawa Hospital.

Homeless person..... deserves health care too
Wheelchair elderly vomits...it happens
2 hour wait....its a hospital/ not a hotel
7 hours....it happens

Now during that time how many urgent patients came in ie heart attack, strokes, that were seen right away...most likely all. Not sure what people want. In my experience, things that need to be done right away are, other people who can wait, usually do
