HOT! Amazon Cash Buy $50 get $10 credit for first time Amazon Cash users

Deal Link:
It is pretty simple, you grab your barcode and head to Canada Post. You buy $50 Amazon Cash and you get $10 Amazon Credit.

It is a bit of a hassle for some to go to a physical location to do this, but hey... 20% guaranteed savings!

EDIT: According to the terms this is for first time Amazon Cash users only as pointed out by gumby. Thanks!

Thanks OP. There was a $5 credit for $20 back in December and I missed it.

Note: Offer limited to first time Amazon Cash customers. If you have used Amazon cash previously, you're out of luck this time. This is like Google Pay $10 credit for first use.

Promotion Details
Try Amazon Cash for the first time by adding CDN$ 50 or more to your Amazon Balance at any participating store, and earn a CDN$ 10 Amazon Credit towards your next purchase on Amazon.ca. Your credit will be automatically be applied to your next qualifying purchase at checkout. This is a limited time offer, one per Amazon customer account. The promotional credit expires on August 31, 2018.

savings of 16.67%*

;)

it's basically 10$ off on a 60$ item, if you want to use all your credits and amazon cash at once

A couple of details in the T&C need to be observed:
*Amazon Cash transaction must occur between 12:01 am (PT) on June 4, 2018 and 11:59 pm (PT) July 8, 2018. <-- what does this really mean wrt the promotional credit expiring on August 31, 2018???
*Offer only applies to products sold by Amazon.ca (look for "sold by Amazon.ca" on the product detail page). Products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if "fulfilled by Amazon.ca" or "Prime Eligible". <-- Don't get caught without the credit being applied buying items NOT sold by Amazon Winking Face

Do I have to pay in cash too, or can I use a credit card?
I just went to my local CP and they only let me pay using cash or debit.

I understand this now - The promo runs from June 4 to July 8 inclusive. As long as you add a minimum $50 cash to your Amazon Cash account by the end of day on July 8, you'll get the extra $10 added to your account. You then have until August 30 (not 31) to use up the $10 credit on items sold by Amazon, otherwise it will disappear on Aug 31.

I don't see the promotion in my Amazon account.
I also never used Amazon cash, is this a targeted promotion?

This promo used to be for $20, guess they got enough people using Amazon cash now. Can I make a new Amazon account and do it again?

I find Amazon "hides" promos. For example, the other day I bought something. I found out after there was actually a promo for that exact item afterward and if I had ordered it through this different link I would have saved $10 more.

Anywho, this promo is not targetted. You just cannot have used Amazon Cash yet (based on my understanding).
