It's entirely automated, so I'd imagine that there is no leeway. If you're not sure if you're eligible, contacting Amazon might be your best bet.

Just got an email from Amazon apologising for the delay in applying the promotional credit. Was given an additional $5 credit as penance.

Thanks, Amazon!

I confirm that as well.

Nice that they sorted this out finally because, for me, it was a debacle with multiple chat sessions over 3 days and nobody knowing anything and passing the buck. Good on Amazon.

+1

Got my original 10$ after chatting with them.
And yesterday, got the email for another 10 + 5.

So 25$ bonus for 50$.
Pretty good deal.
Subject: Your Amazon Cash transaction

Hello,
We're contacting you about your recent Amazon Cash transaction.
We recently learned there’s been a delay in processing your $10 promotional credit.
We’re very sorry about this.

To help make up for the inconvenience, we've now added an additional $5 credit to your
Amazon.ca Gift Card Balance, for a total promotional credit of $15.
This amount will automatically apply the next time you buy an eligible item shipped and
sold by Amazon.ca, without entering a claim code.

Yes, you are all correct. I didn't just get $5 as penance, but $15 on top of the $10 I was given by a reap in live chat. All those folks gloating in the buy $100 Amazon Cash get $25 Credit can suck eggs!

I happen to have two amazon accounts (one for work, one for personal life) so I'll juste apply the 25 on 100$ to my work account, and enjoy both promo

It's still right there...

If you really want the credit that badly stop using their chat/email support and call in.

Again, like others have mentioned, first time users only and for items from Amazon only since its their credit. Not for "items fulfilled by Amazon"
weird.. the promo was orignally on their .ca/cash page, but disappeared. Then I tried the link in op it redirected back to the same page with no mention of the promo. But i clicked on ur link it directed me to the correct promo page.

and i also got the automatic email giving the extra $5. It applies on order sold by amazon.ca only, good thing I haven't used my $10 yet.
I thought RFD was supposed to help me SAVE money .... -__-|
Zoomer, Fido, ING (Tangerine sounds so weird >.>)

When did you load the $50? The promo was over a few weeks ago:

I understand this now - The promo runs from June 4 to July 8 inclusive. As long as you add a minimum $50 cash to your Amazon Cash account by the end of day on July 8, you'll get the extra $10 added to your account. You then have until August 30 (not 31) to use up the $10 credit on items sold by Amazon, otherwise it will disappear on Aug 31.

it can take 1-2 days if I remember.
Also, to see it, you have to add an item to cart from amazon and shipped by amazon and start the checkout process.
only then you will see if you have your promotional/courtesy credit.

This 10$ isn't like a gift card balance and there isn't any way to see the balance.

Try with an amazon basic item like sheets set to see if you have the credit in your account.
