If you are away from home, you can phone LD to your heart's content, assuming you phone with Canada or the US. No charge.
Does All fees waived means NO S.A.F. and 911 fee?
I'm currently on Bell family plan contract and only have 6 months left. Can I switch over to this plan now?

@ Net,
Yeah its 20$ (no saf & 911). Of course the 20$ is taxed.. so itll be about 23$?
@ Nowin,
This plan is amazing =) Ill call up Bill. How does it work? Will I be able to go into a Bell store and pick up my phone? Or will I have to get it shipped from him? Ill look into the text bundles etc. Thanks!

he can look up your current Bell plan and tell you how much it would cost to get out of it. if you are paying alot right now, it might be worth it to cancel your current plan and sign the Bill plan. ive been talking to him about it, but my contract would cost me $20/month to cancel, so almost $120. not worth it right now as my plan is very similar to the Bill plan, it would only save me $3/month.

Bill's plan is pretty good. I am looking for a cellphone voice plan for my parents.
They don't even use the cellphone that much, so a plan with even just 100 daytime minutes would be fine for them.
Unfortunately with pre-paid, they forget to renew and I don't want them to have to worry about that (parents getting up there in age).
Anyone have a voice plan only for approxmiately $15 all-in including taxes? Or am I just dreaming? Doesn't need VM, conference call etc.
New activation, 3yr contract no problem.

Yeh... I think you are dreaming but I could be wrong. I did an extensive search on the cell phone plans a few months ago. You'll be hard pressed to beat $20/month+taxes. As you mentioned, the prepaid plans can be found for less, but then you need to remember to renew... It's worth the extra $5/month for me for peace of mind. And there are all the extra features thrown in, most of which I do not use. The unlimited long distance is a REAL bonus. Your parents could then cancel their home phone and with the savings, the mobile would be FREE.

Sweet corp contract, but how does Bell compare to Fido in terms of coverage within Toronto? Are there any advantages?

I spoke to soon. "the mobile would be free". Depends how much your parents use the phone during the day. If it's less than 250 mins, then they would not need the land line.

Just signed up and bought the Samsung m510 for $30. As told by Bill you can get $200 credit after one year to sign up on another 3-yr contract. Better to send his email firt with your phone number. He replied quickly.
Hot deal!

Just spoke to Bill, the deal is not available in BC in the same way. There is a BC version, however long distance is 7c/min instead of free and you get the first minute of incoming calls free. Hope this helps.
