[Amazon.com] HOT: Bosch Bulldog Xtreme 1-Inch SDS-Plus D-Handle Rotary Hammer - $164.99+taxes

Hey everyone, I was just looking for a new hammer drill as I have several concrete projects coming up and a basement reno. With this you can put it in drill mode, hammer drill mode, and hammer-only if you want to break up concrete.

There was a previous thread on here where it was advertised as being hot for $199.99, compare at Home Depot where it is $349.99

At Amazon.ca, they have a special $15 off any Bosch tool purchase, when you spend over $100. The price dropped from $199.99 to $179.99 - $15 = $164.99 + taxes

WOW. I just picked up the RH228VC (1-1/8" SDS Plus) at IHL:

$240 plus free angle grinder.
http://www.ihlcanada.com/DRILLRH228VC.html

The angle grinder could be better, but it's worth maybe $50~75.

IHL has the 11255VSR (1" SDS Plus) for $230 plus the same grinder.

http://www.ihlcanada.com/DRILL11255VSR.html

Amazon says it comes from JCCayer.

Thanks for all the thanks! Just trying to contribute back to the community that has put a major hurting on my wallet many times before.

I just hope that people who honestly needed this tool managed to get it, instead of hoarders looking to resell.

The drill is still available for $179.99; you have to click where it says 5 new from $179,99 or click the hyperlink I posted above, but the shipping estimate is 1-2 months. I once ordered something with that delivery estimate and it shipped out less than 2 weeks later. So if you have something coming up this summer that requires some serious demo work or concrete drilling then it might be worth the wait. Trust me, I have been looking for this thing in the United States, just didn't want to pay duties and I've never, ever seen the price anywhere near this low.

It say "$15 Off: A $15 Amazon.ca Gift Certificate will be instantly loaded into your Amazon.ca account upon the approval of your credit card application¹" so i have to apply for an Amazon.ca Credit card to get it?

I dont know... the 15$ do not appear at the checkout.

That's because the only one that has active stock is a reseller. Amazon.ca fulfilled still lists it for $180 but it's out of stock, hence the supplier (and price) switch.

It's appearing fine for me. If you get a CC from them they'll give you an additional $15 off.
